I told her she needed to be a model…I am right! :) Thanks for the FUN evening!!

So as you can see, I had a hard time choosing…Hard to get a bad image when you are that beautiful right?? Yes, it was cold, yes it rained, but yes I had SO much fun!!! They are both from out of state and decided to come here to get married in the Salt Lake Temple, and I must say, “Good Choice!!” Once again, I love my JOB!!! Thanks Joy & Matt! Enjoy your sneak peek!

And how cute is this?? At the reception they had chocolate milk & candy bins!! I loved it!

As a photographer, I tend to HIDE behind the camera. Funny… I don’t like having my picture taken!! Yet I tell everyone else that they need to capture these precious moments with their families, and I am a hypocrite! LOL! So me and a couple photographer friends went out playing the other day and I thought what a perfect time to get at least one shot of me and my baby right?? So I tossed my camera to Marissa and had her snap a few of me and M. I just had to buck up and do it and when I came home and edited them, I actually liked them! So if you are like me, quit coming up with excuses to not get your picture taken! You will cherish the memories!! So without further ado…this is me and baby M
And what mother with a camera doesn’t snap a few hundred of her child in the process right?? Well I will spare you the hundred and show you two…

Here is the rest the the sneak peek of Katie…EnJoY!

Ooooo what F U N I had tonight!!! Scrolling through my CF card, this one caught my eye! I LoVe it! Love the pink cherry blossom tree, love the lens flare, love the yummy lighting, and love beautiful Katie!! She is graduating from U of U in a couple weeks and we had a very fun session! I must keep going on her graduation announcement, but don’t worry, more of Katie to come shortly!!
Ryan is graduating from High School and needless to say, he hates to have his picture taken!! But, with the help of a few Ferrari’s and a few Lotus’, I think we were able to get a few genuine smiles out of him!! Funny how boys are always so happy surrounded by half a million dollar toys!!

Liz called me yesterday and asked if I was available today to photograph their wedding! LOL! I love her! She is so spontaneous! Luckily I didn’t schedule anyone else because I had a dentist appointment. So, me and my numb mouth took a trek to the Salt Lake Temple this afternoon for an awesome wedding! Thanks for calling Liz! I loved every minute! Enjoy your honeymoon, and your sneak peek! Congratulations!!

And we had to get a pouty pose too!
This weekend was spent driving, but it was worth it! Some of our best friends were in Boise for a couple weeks and at the end of the month he is getting deployed so we took the opportunity to drive up and spend the day with him and his family and get some family pictures before he leaves. They are so fun! And their daughter is absolutely adorable! Here are some of the favorites…hope you enjoy!
Also, in CELEBRATION of spring and my new blog, I decided to have an early giveaway. I am going to be giving another free photo session away for up to five people which will include the sitting fee and a $50 print credit. It will run now through May 8th. It will be totally random and you can comment one time per post. So here is how it is going to work:
Every time I post you can leave one comment. It can be to say HI, to tell me you REALLY want to win, or you LOVE my stuff….whatever you think will help your chances!!! If I post 15 times between now and May 8th, you can leave one comment per post and enter 15 times total. On May 8th, I will go to random.org and type in the number of times I posted and it will give me a random number. That will be the post I will use for the drawing. I will go to that post and type in the number of comments I received and it will give me another random number. If it gives me the number one and you were the first person to comment that day, you are the lucky winner! Pretty easy! And now is such an awesome time for pictures!!! I am loving it!! So spread the word! MORE FREE PICTURES!!! What could be better???
P.S. Your email is never displayed or shared and you DO NOT have to have a website to leave a comment! I will post the winner on May 8th! Good Luck!

Well I am SO far behind, I have so much to blog and a ton of sessions coming up, but I had to take some mommy time and take my daughters 6 month pictures, before she wasn’t 6 months anymore! I went to Sandy Puc’ seminar last week and learned so many tips and tricks about child portraits and who better to test them out on than my own child right?? It was AWESOME!! Her techniques rocked and totally worked!! I think we made away with some pretty dang cute ones!!
